This weird song is about perspective and the ethics of how we distance ourselves from others by making their first person singular perspective into a grammatical object.
This song confronts the moral problem of how language objectifies subjective first persons, and this makes it easier not to empathize, and not to treat other individuals as persons, but as things. Language provides a framework that makes it easy to flatten first person singular perspectives into the grammatically "others," but no person is a third person - we are all grammatical "first persons." The ramifications of this are that we must practice empathy, because language itself has insidious anti-empathetic inclinations.
Also, regarding objective truth, which is to say the question of if there is such a thing as absolute truth, it misses the point, by trying to supersede being, because perspective gives location a point, no test for truth can conclude if what is being tested is not given a scale and location relative to a subject, so there really is such a thing as truth, but only as that which exists within the bounds of first person perspective.
There is no existence without a point of view. I have a deep philosophical objection to the idea that anything at all can exist without there being a perspective from which to experience it.

I enjoyed creating the silly vocal sound that happens about a quarter of the way into the track, it is not an effect, I was channeling the voice of a talking doughnut, her name is Doughlores. Up until I saw The Good Place, I thought I was alone in thinking philosophy was fun.
The final chorus vamp has the energy of healing the world - it walks the tightrope between uncertainty and hope.
