LOVE YOUR LIFE - from "Truth and Fun" by Eight Two Hey there gorgeous, strike a pose, It ain’t easy being breezy Age is a bitter pill to swallow, You can dye it all away Live for style, live in denial So your dreams remain a fantasy Age is a glitter pill to swallow F’you can buy it all away It ain’t easy being breezy Balayage for the economy Toss those tresses, strut those dresses Look lost at your hilarity Live in style, die in denial So you’ll never, have to see your dreams turn gray Age is a fatal, pill to swallow You decline day by day Age is an honest pill to swallow You can lie it all away It takes guts to love your life When you stand and face mortality Not to live fast and self-destruct, before age can take your lust for life away We all die, but those we remember, chose not to fuck the world for posterity It takes nerve to live with verve, On your way from time to eternity It ain’t easy being breezy, yeah You decline day by day You can buy it all away It takes guts to love your life When you stand and face mortality Not to live fast and self-destruct, before age can take your lust for life away We all die, but those we remember, chose not to fuck the world for posterity It takes nerve to live with verve, On your way from time to eternity It ain’t easy being breezy, yeah Love your life, ooh Love your life, ooh Love your life, wooh Love your life, wooh It takes guts to love your life When you stand and face mortality Not to live fast and self-destruct, before age can take your lust for life away We all die, but those we remember, chose not to fuck the world for posterity It takes nerve to live with verve, On your way from time to eternity Love today, yeah Advanced style calls back fans Of life after insecurity Age in style, wither with a smile Sashay away immaturity Age is a bitter pill to swallow, Yesterday is a surgery away

Determinism 05:17
DETERMINISM - from "Truth and Fun" by Eight Two We laugh a lot, we smile at each other Whoever we meet is sister or brother We have fun, we get along We laugh when we're right, and laugh when we're wrong Did I have a choice to write this song? Were you predetermined to give it derision? We laugh a lot, we smile at each other Whoever we meet is sister or brother We have fun, we get along We laugh when we're right, and laugh when we're wrong Do I have a choice to sing this song? Are you predetermined to skip it or sing-along? If there's no free will, how can there be right and wrong? Does belief in free will change the decision? The game, the game, the game of words We laugh along, we smile at each other Whoever we meet is sister or brother We have fun, we get along We laugh when we're right, and laugh when we're wrong We pout and turn our backs on each other Whoever we meet is a motherfucker We're too vain to get along We laugh when we're right and cheat when we're wrong I fell in love with fate But fate broke my heart, Irreconcilable differences Fatalists don't take chances! Fate got the house, I got the miniature horse and cart Hey quantum predictor! I'll break your tomorrow By being a random man Take me beyond names, to where we need no definitions Take me beyond names, to where we need no definition Take me beyond names, to where we need no definitions Take me beyond names, to where we need no definition It's only possible Because it's happening Life is unlikely It's only possible Because it's happening Love is unlikely It's only possible Because it's happening We laugh a lot, we smile at each other Everyone we meet is sister or brother We have fun, we get along We laugh when we're right, and laugh when we're wrong We pout and turn our backs on each other Whoever we meet is a motherfucker We're too vain to get along We laugh when we're right and cheat when we're wrong We laugh when we're right, and laugh when we're wrong The game... the game Do I have a choice to sing this song? Are you predetermined to skip it or sing-along? If there's no free will, how can I choose right from wrong? Does belief in free will change my decision? The game of words prefers the dead and the name above the thing The game of words prefers the dead and the name above the thing The game of words prefers the dead and the name above the thing The game of words, the game of words

VALIDATION SONG - from "Truth and Fun" by Eight Two Why should it bother me what critics say of me? Why should it get to me that they just look through me? Why’s it admissible for tin gods to judge me? Why should it get to me that I’m invisible? Why does it matter what rich people say? Why should I worry? I don’t need no one’s approval To be whatever the fuck I wanna be I don’t give a fuck what you think of me I’m okay with me, I validate myself I don’t give a fuck what you think of me I approve of me, I validate myself Why should it bother me what labels think of me? Why should it get to me if I’m invisible? Why does it matter what celebrities say? Why should I worry? I don’t need no one’s approval To be whatever the fuck I wanna be I don’t give a fuck what you think of me I’m okay with me, I validate myself I don’t give a fuck what you think of me I approve of me, I validate myself My freedom is unattainable While I’m governed by what other people think of me My liberty is laughable If get my sense of worth from other people Why does it matter what the fortunate say? Why should I worry? I don’t need no one’s approval To be whatever the fuck I wanna be I don’t give a fuck what you think of me I’m okay with me, I validate myself I don’t give a fuck what you think of me I approve of me, I validate myself I don’t give a fuck what you think of me I’m okay with me, I validate myself I don’t give a fuck what you think of me I approve of me, I validate myself I validate I validate I don’t give a fuck I validate myself I validate myself I validate I validate myself I validate I don’t give a fuck what you think of me I’m okay with me, I validate myself I don’t give a fuck

POV Rhapsody 04:19
POV Rhapsody - from "Truth and Fun" by Eight Two Perspective changes love into strangeness Perspective changes Perspective changes Perspective changes everything Any fixed truth is insincere If the only constant is change Truth itself must change too Existence assumes a first person point of view Second and third persons don’t ring true It’s conceited to act as though they do Truth is first person singular Being has so much more for you to be There has never been more wonder for you to see Reality needs POV Without someone to see it, there is nothing to see Truth cannot be simplified Understanding cannot stand alone No one has a third person point of view Everyone is an “I” and that includes you There’s a massive hole in hope Can you pass through, do you dare? La la la... There’s a massive hole in hope Can you pass through, do you dare? Do you care enough about truth To undo it? There’s a massive hole in hope Can you pass through, do you dare? Do you care enough about truth To undo it? There’s a massive hole in hope Can you pass through it?

TWENTY TWENTY - from "Truth and Fun" by Eight Two Morrow will be better, Than today, or yesterday There, will be better, Than here, or where we were Morrow will be better, Than today or yesterday Sad as today may seem, Soon we will say Sad as today may seem Soon we will say Those were the days The past is over, But the now lasts forever, yeah The past is over, But the now lasts forever Future, you will be better Than now or yesterday, Than today or yesterday. Future, you will be better Than now or yesterday Sad as today may seem Soon I will say Those were the days Tomorrow show me how To love today As future me Looking back from tomorrow I love today Now is where I’ll stay Tomorrow it’s not what But how you see Twenty twenty

about

'Truth and Fun' is courageous, bold, philosophical, weird, intellectual, irreverent, wacky, playful, transcending norms, genuine, unprecious, less fucks given...
Put down your hangups, self replaced by self awareness, staring contest with purpose, the poetry of the absurd, making friends with scary visions, so much introspection it makes your eyes water, righteous angry environmentalism, loving the world, I love living, gratitude for my life and your life, shaming the status quo into changing for the better, hope for a kinder future, radical acceptance of depression, inspiration as a discipline, intimacy with failure, terrifying wildness lets do it, hermit life in a cave of rainbows, real friendships with imaginary friends, irony because it’s real, sincerity because pleasing others pleases no one, experimentation because music is about playing, complexity because truth cannot be simplified, the meaning of life because life itself is the purpose of living, peace because violence is a game where everyone loses, tolerance but not of intolerance, compassion can be cute.
